Who we are
Yufena Explorers (“Yufena”, “we”, “us”) is run by Norman Lau, based in Penang, Malaysia. You can reach us at hello@yufena.com. By using yufena.com or a Yufena lesson, you agree to these terms.
Using the site and lessons
You may use yufena.com and its lessons for your own family’s learning, and teachers may use them with their own class. Please don’t copy, sell or republish the lessons, stories or pictures without asking us first.
For children, with a grown-up
Lessons are made for children aged 7–9 to use with a grown-up nearby. Children don’t have accounts. Sign-ups and purchases must be made by a parent or guardian.
Safety comes first
Experiments use everyday items, but a grown-up should always supervise, read the safety notes and handle anything hot or sharp. You decide what is safe in your home.
The Founding Explorer pilot
Signing up for the pilot is not a booking and does not commit you to pay. We will confirm dates, price and what is included before anything is charged. You can withdraw at any time before the pilot starts.
Live sessions
Pilot sessions run on Zoom. Please keep sessions kind and respectful, and don’t record other families without their permission.
Paid lessons
When paid lessons launch, they will be sold through Payhip, and Payhip’s terms will also apply to those purchases.
Our content
The Yufena name and logo, Joshua the explorer, the stories, the narration and the illustrations belong to Yufena. © 2026 Yufena.
Our promise, and its limits
We work hard to make every lesson accurate, safe and kind. Even so, the site is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. If you spot one, please tell us and we will fix it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law.
Your privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy notice. We don’t show ads and we never sell your data.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms, and we will change the effective date at the top when we do. Questions? Email hello@yufena.com.
